Your Important First Visit to Our Akron Dental Office
Taking the First Step on Your Journey Toward Health
While every visit is important, your very first visit to our dental office sets the stage for a lifetime of good dental health. We begin with Dr. Stephens discussing with you your current dental health and needs.
We take plenty of time with you to clarify your concerns, expectations or problems and then move on to a very detailed examination. It is so detailed that in fact many patients say they have never experienced such a thorough exam. If needed, Dr. Stephens will consult with specialists he knows and trusts.
Once all the necessary information is gathered, Dr. Stephens will spend time reviewing your case and utilizing the diagnostic casts taken at your examination to make specific diagnosis of your current condition and to design a blueprint for your care. An individual, long-term treatment plan or program may also be designed and discussed with you fully at your next appointment.
Above all, we want you to be informed and involved, and to feel that the decisions you make are in your best interest.
